The 1st of December and the first day of the meteorological winter and it certainly came in very cold, temperatures outside our house got down to -4C and we woke up to a beautiful hoar frost if a little foggy. I decided to go for a walk round the village with my camera and take pictures hoping that perhaps the sun would break through. I saw the sun in the sky behind the fog a couple of times but it was not to be but still plenty to take pictures of.
